A monetary gift is one of the most adaptable ways of supporting Missoula Food Bank. Not only are we able to purchase food commodities with your monetary gift at a rate typically unavailable to the public, a monetary gift also gives us the freedom to buy exactly what we need, exactly when we need it.

You will always receive an acknowledgement, either by mail or email, for your gift that may be used for tax deduction purposes (for your records, our tax ID number is 81-0414143).

There are a number of ways to contribute to the work of Missoula Food Bank

Planned Giving:

"Planned gifts" are designed to be solidified and made available at a future point in time but may benefit the donor today! This increasingly important giving strategy is being integrated in Missoula Food Bank's fundraising efforts.

We have partnered with the Missoula Community Foundation and the Montana Community Foundation to provide expert assistance in the subtleties and intricacies of arranging planned gifts. Many of such planned giving arrangements not only provide substantial federal tax deductions but also may qualify donors to utilize the Montana Endowment Tax Credit.

Please consider including us in your will as well as your estate plan, and we will translate your generosity into food for hungry families for years beyond your ability to facilitate such service.

For more information on planned giving, please contact Cynthia Lotty at 549-0543 ext. 101 or via Email.

Bequests

For many supporters of Missoula Food Bank, leaving a charitable gift in their will is the perfect way to contribute to ending hunger in our corner of the country. A bequest in a will can help us secure and distribute food to people in need and raise public awareness about hunger issues for years to come.

With a little planning today, you can protect the well-being of your loved ones and leave a gift of hope for the next generation and for our community. You may donate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your assets, or stocks and bonds. You may also consider naming Missoula Food Bank as the beneficiary of an IRA, pension plan or life insurance policy.

For more information about making a bequest to Missoula Food Bank, please contact Cynthia Lotty, our Executive Director at (406) 549-0543 extension 101 or via Email.
