Our approach in providing food to our community is deliberately versatile. We understand that our clients have a myriad of personal experiences that motivate their visits to our food bank, and we hope to accommodate such a breadth of need in as many ways as we can.

Open Monday through Friday, Our Store at 219 S. 3rd St. W. is our primary food resource. Here, clients will be greeted by welcoming staff members and volunteers who will guide them to nutritious perishable and non-perishable food items that accommodate their family size. Clients will also have the opportunity to learn about other community resources that are available, as needed.

To maximize the variety and quantity of nutritious food we can have available for clients, our Food Circle program utilizes numerous partnerships with local food vendors to rescue prepared and perishable food items that would otherwise be wasted. Through this wonderful program we save hundreds of thousands of pounds of food each year!

We also have two unique outreach programs that offer food assistance beyond our normal in-store services. ROOTS (Recognizing Other Opportunities to Serve) represents our commitment to serving approximately 400 local homebound seniors with a monthly delivery of both perishable and non-perishable food.

Our Kids Table program serves free daily lunches to children during the summer months as they are unable to participate in the free and reduced lunch programs offered during the school year.
