A meal shared among neighbors serves as a gathering space for the community to understand root issues allowing food insecurity to exist in Missoula.
Our program this year will explore food insecurity beyond Missoula's city limits, highlighting the unique challenges facing our surrounding communities and the neighbors working to address them. Together, we'll share stories of innovative local solutions, the impact of existing rural nutrition programs, and the opportunities ahead as we work toward a future where everyone has reliable access to healthy food—no matter where they live.
The evening features live music, delicious soup, and speakers with lived experience of food insecurity. Attendees are invited to choose a ceramic bowl handcrafted by a local artists at the Clay Studio of Missoula & the Helena Clay Guild to fill up and take home.
Guest speakers to be announced.
